From making pizza to brownies and even bacon the waffle maker (aka waffle iron) is a little more versatile than you might expect. If you have canned cinnamon rolls on hand you can cook them directly in your iron to make cinnamon roll waffles and even make a syrup from the icing packet by adding corn syrup.
Culinary entertainment weblog Lady Behind the Curtain notes that all you have to do is spray your waffle maker with cooking spray and place one cinnamon roll in each waffle square. You'll want to smash down the cinnamon rolls and make sure your waffle iron closes completely. Cook for your normal length of time and you'll have fresh cinnamon roll waffles. While you're waiting mix the frosting packet from the cinnamon roll can with a tablespoon of corn syrup and add a teaspoon of water at a time until it reaches your preferred consistency.
Sounds like a great breakfast mashup, pun intended.
