Thoughts On JanWilkeDesigns dot Com

After much thought and careful consideration,
I have decided to eliminate my www. JanWilkeDesigns.com
I realized, after carefully calculating everything,
that the cost and time spent in maintenance of this endeavor,
is way more than I want to spend in order to keep it going.
I want my sewing to be pleasurable
and the thought of having a website with my own name is
extremely mesmerizing, I just really do not want to  become
a "slave" to it.
In order to really do an effective job at it....
I would have to devote
ALOT
of time and money to it.
And in addition to that , I would have to sew
like crazy in order to 
"stock my shelves"
to get my $45 a month back in fees 
that I would be paying.
It is a huge relief not to worry about all of the time
that I would need to spend keeping that website going.
So,
this is my blog and
since my Arty Farty Creations
is paid thru September 2012, I will use that venue
in the event that I feel compelled to
sell stuff online again.
What I have been reminded of is this:
sewing should be fun.
Life is too short to get all stressed out over a bad choice
that can be changed.
