Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp clove*
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp clove*
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine the eggs, pumpkin, and milk; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour into a greased 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
