Make Wool Clothing Less Itchy with Glycerin or Vinegar [Clever Uses]

Make Wool Clothing Less Itchy with Glycerin or VinegarIf you've got a wool sweater that makes you scratchy, all you might need to do to soften it up is wash it—with glycerin (available at drugstores) or vinegar (probably in your kitchen).

eHow offers directions to decrease the itchiness of wool clothing. You can add two or three tablespoons of glycerin and  the wool garment or try two cups of white distilled vinegar in your washing machine.

If neither of those methods work, don't worry, you still have another option: try using hair conditioner as a final rinse.
